Miller’s SignsForPeace exhibition is a beautiful, creative
expression of our common desire for peace.
To achieve peace, we must banish the excuse that violence is an
inevitable part of human nature and recognize that violence is
a choice. Violent responses to issues confronting us – whether
by an individual or by a group of individuals or by a state –
are choices.
We can and must choose non-violent means to confront the problems
facing us all. If we are to achieve peace in our small world,
we must banish the belief that creating peace is a “utopian
dream” and instead recognize that it is hard work, every
single day.
Each and every one of us must find ways to contribute to that
hard work.
Claus Miller’s exhibition, “SignsForPeace,”
is one such contribution. And for that, we thank you, Claus.
